Question:

How can the complex structure, material layering and internal components of a Mercedes-Benz seat be precisely visualized for development, quality assurance and technical documentation? Design engineers, suppliers and production teams need precise insights into the internal structure – flexibly for different seat models and equipment variants.

Solution:

Technical sectional views visualize the Mercedes-Benz seat and make the upholstery structure, adjustment mechanism, safety components and material position visible. Today, these sectional models are largely created on the basis of existing 3D data. The advantage: the models can be quickly presented in different variants, perspectives and sectional planes – without having to redraw each configuration.
